Not every process needs an SOP. Prioritize wisely.

SOPs are valuable for processes that are:

  • Repeated frequently (daily, weekly)
  • Performed by multiple people
  • Critical to quality or compliance
  • Complex with many steps
  • Prone to errors or inconsistency

Start with processes that cause the most pain when done wrong.
